<< J. A. Rust (Albie)
Winemaker

Albie attended primary school in Upington. During this time he regularly visited the winery with his father, who was employed at the department of Customs and Excise. After matriculation and military service, he worked at Du Toitskloof Winery during harvest season. It was during this period of time that Albie decided that wine-making was the career he would choose to follow.

In 1990 Albie was appointed as Winemaker at Lutzville Vineyards and currently holds a position as Senior Winemaker. Albie strives to constantly improve grape and wine quality.
